Ticket To Work Program

The Ticket to Work Program is an innovative program for individuals with disabilities who want to work and participate in planning their employment.
A Ticket increases your available choices to help you obtain vocational rehabilitation, training, job referrals and other employment support services. The program is voluntary and free of charge.
The Social Security Administration sends the Ticket to eligible SSI and/or SSDI beneficiaries who are between the ages of 18 and 64. It is an opportunity for you to receive service sand support so that you can go to work if you want to. The Ticket allows you to choose an Employment Network, like Workforce Resource, that will meet your employment related needs.
We provide services at no cost to you. Please note that Social Security will not schedule you for any medical continuing disability reviews (CDRs) while you are using the Ticket. Participation and use of the Ticket is strictly voluntary. Your Social Security benefits will not be affected if you choose not to use your Ticket. You should know that if you go back to work, you will NOT automatically lose your disability benefits. The Ticket to Work and special rules called "work incentives" allow you to keep your cash benefits and Medicare or Medicaid while you test your ability to work. For the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program, there is a trial work period during which you can receive full benefits regardless of how much you earn, as long as you report your work activity and continue to have a disabling impairment.
Using your Ticket, we will help you develop a plan to go towork, and then provide you with theservices you need to follow that plan.
Our services include:
- Support while finding a job,
