WorkforceResource, Inc. (WRI) is a private non-profit corporation incorporated originally as the West Central Wisconsin Private Industry Council, Inc. in 1983 and has been in continuous operation in the nine counties (Barron, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix) of West Central Wisconsin since its founding. With a mission of “Empowering People Through Employment,” WRI continues to operate a variety of state and federal grants with an emphasis of assisting individuals to find and keep employment. Today, WRI’s service region encompasses 39 counties.
