DVR Services Provider

Workforce Resource is a DVR (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation) programs’ services provider. Our goal is to provide person-centered case management.
We are funded by the Wisconsin DVR, Wisconsin Department of Health Services,Ticket to Work, and IRIS.
Services we provide:
- Employment preparation, including interview practice and the development of résumés, cover letters, and letters of interest
- Skill-building curriculum and coursework delivered by trained Job Developers, including titles:
- Skills to Pay the Bills
- Explore Work
- Career Planning
- Self-Advocacy
- Cash Handling
- Person-centered career development, partnering with local employers to offer job shadowing opportunities and paid internships
- On-site job coaching during work shifts to support skill development and effective communication with coworkers and supervisors
- Assistance accessing community resources, including food and clothing pantries, energy assistance, housing vouchers, and other supports
- Mentoring services, offering guidance with organization, budgeting, housing stability, and navigating legal and community systems
